A Note from Our Associate Pastor....
Well the summer is over and now it is time to approach a new church year. August is the month that we get geared up to see how many unchurched people we can reach for Christ in 2010-2011. God has truly blessed Northbrook over the last 51 years. My prayer is that our contemporary version will make even more of an impact than we did in the past.
Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established. Proverbs 16:3
YOUTH NEWS...
This month we welcome back school after consecutive weeks of Camp, VBS, and the Upstate Evangelism Conference. We need to impact our world for Christ, especially as we begin a new school year. We as Christians have to LEAD if we expect people, to follow us to Christ. We will study this the importance of Leadership.

At 6:30 PM every Wednesday Night we have our Wednesday Youth Worship, this is Youth Focused with music and messages aimed specifically for Northbrook Youth.
SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS.....
This is the last month of the 2009-2010 Church Year and I would like to say thank you to the teachers for your effort and willingness to serve. August 28th all teachers need to attend the Sunday School Clinic @ Fairview Baptist Church. This will be a great time to receive fresh training as we go into 2010-2011. The Clinic will begin at 8 am and will conclude by 2 pm with lunch provided. Lets learn how can serve the Lord better for the new church year. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Romans 12:11
