Children's Ministry

 

 

Summer is quickly approaching and that means for us at Northbrook that summer activities are about to be in full swing. We have our Easter Celebration coming up on the 7th of April. This will be from 1-11 here at the church. We want as many as possible to be in attendance. Invite friends, neighbors, and family.Our KIDZ Disciple now weekend will be April 20th-21st. This was a huge success last year as we focused on who we are in Christ. This year our theme is IMITATORS OF CHRIST. Pierre Salmon our speaker from last year has agreed to come and lead it again this year. This will be a huge time of growth and fun for our elementary age children. We are in need of host homes for this event. If you would be willing to let a small group of children stay in your home Friday please contact the church office and let Deandra know.  In the month of May we will have MEGA SPORTS CAMP. This was a huge outreach to our community last year and I have a dream that it will be even bigger this year. We offer basketball, baseball, and cheerleading. I urge you to bring your children to sports camp. We have programs for kids ages 3-6th grade.  If you would be interested in helping please sign up on the children's board. Also this year we will allow pre registration the form will be available our website. It's almost that time again to begin working on VBS. If you are interested in serving in any way please contact Deandra. Mission trip is not limited to teenagers and above. We have a goal this year as a committee to involve more young families. Please pray about bringing your family on mission trip this summer. God has huge things in store and we want as many people as possible to be apart. Continue to listen to announcements to hear more things going on for children and their families this summer. Looking forward to an awesome summer.
